Lauren & Justin's Engagement Session
As you may already know, Lauren & Justin are set to get married on Saturday, October 20th, 2018 and I have the honor to be their wedding photographer! This past Saturday, June 23rd, we had our engagement session. Lauren chose the beautiful Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve to be the location of the shoot. Waterfall Glen is known for its amazing hiking trails, gorgeous scenery, and of course, the waterfall!
We received a ton of rain in the few days leading up to the shoot, but the day of was beautiful. However, due to all the rain, the creeks were deeper than usual and the waterfall was roaring with the extra water flow! But this didn't stop us from getting amazing images. :)
Both Lauren & Justin are sweet people and I could tell they mesh together well. It's no shocker that these two are engaged! Also, it's no shocker that they both love their adorable dog, B. Their faces lit up with joy when we was in the picture and it was fun capturing these moments.
By this time, the waterfall was starting to get crowded with people so we decided to hit the trail to get more shots. The trail gave us a lot of different looks to choose from and we took advantage of this. I really enjoyed our time together, it gave me more insight on who Lauren & Justin are as people as well as let them get to know me a little bit better as well. This is crucial to get amazing and genuine images the day of the wedding.
I had fun on our shoot and I hope Lauren & Justin feel the same. We were able to get amazing images in a relatively short period of time. I'm definitely looking forward to their wedding. Taken from what I know, it's going to be a lot of fun and I'm so lucky to be the one to capture the moments! Below are more pictures from our session - I hope you love them!
